Well I pulled off a huge surprise on my family! I went home for Thanksgiving and showed up to dinner unannounced! Needless to say I caught everyone in my family off guard and it was worth all the stressful planning and sneaking around I had to do for a couple days.
I got to go home and watch a few local artists play on Wednesday night at the Crazy Horse Saloon and then spend a few days with my family before heading back home yesterday. The weather was crappy and made travel a little difficult, but it is always worth it. Hope everyone is getting their shopping done! I took advantage of Cyber Monday and just did it online to avoid the crazy mess at the mall. Hope everyone's week is awesome and make sure if you're in town to come check out a show. Thursday I'll be at the Scoreboard and next Tuesday the 6th i'm out in Hermitage at the Rusty Nail. I'm ready for this week to be over, but I'm thankful to be so busy and working! Next week is going to be very busy, I'll be in meetings all day and playing Monday through Wednesday night. Monday night I will be at Dan McGuiness in Nashville at 7:30. Tuesday i'll be at The Rusty Nail in Hermitage starting around 8:00 and then Wednesday night i'm playing a writers round at The Commodore Grill hosted by the lovely Debi Champion. If you are in town these nights please stop by and check out a show, you won't be disappointed.
Hope everyone has a fabulous Thanksgiving and enjoys the parades, turkey, football, and family. I'll be watching the Lions and hoping for a "W". God Bless xoxoxo It is shocking to me that it's November already! This month is going to be very busy; filled with meetings, gigs, and writing. There is still work to be done on the album, but the little extra wait will be worth it believe me!
I just watched the Michigan Wolverines lose today! It seems like every time I'm watching they don't play very well. Maybe that's a sign! Got to get to work here, but just wanted to check in with you and let you know that there is going to be a short delay on the album release.
