After years of writing, recording, touring, and hard work, yesterday I was lucky enough to release “Broken Radio” out into the world. There are so many thank you’s I need to give to people who made this music possible. I’d first like to thank my producer, Jeff Anderson. From day one, he treated this project like his own and gave it life every single day. I’d also like to give a shout out to all the writers on this EP including, Jeff Anderson, Frank Maroney, Olivia Rudeen, and Mick Holland. These songs wouldn’t be what they are without all of your creative minds shaping these songs. You guys helped me bring these ideas to life. Musicians and background vocalists including, Madeleine and Chelsea Anderson, you crushed it! I’m so thankful to have you on these tracks! Everyone who loved and supported these songs on the road while I was playing them the last couple of years humbled me; you guys really made this project for me. Lastly, my friends and family who support my crazy dream of making music! This is the hardest, but best decision I’ve ever made in life. Thank you for loving me through the best and worst times and making my life one worth singing about!

Chicago, Michigan, and Summer Tour

6/19/2017

I can't believe we are into June and Summer is upon us...

I've already had the best time on the road this month. I've been on tour with both Madeleine and Annie Kennedy, the dates have been great! Last weekend, I got to head to Chicago with Annie to play the famous "Elbo Room"! We had a great show and I can't wait to get back to play again very soon! We also hit a really cool vineyard on the way back home and played at Alto Pass Vineyards in Alto Pass, IL. Both places has such great people and I highly encourage people to visit both places. You can check out my friend Annie Kennedy at her website at www.anniekennedycountry.com.
Right now I'm packing my suitcase and heading out for tour in the Midwest for a few weeks. I've got several shows next weekend in Kentucky and then I'm heading to Michigan to play a handful of shows there. I'm going to be spending time with friends and family and getting some much needed R & R in before my major summer tour with Madeleine.

The big tour with Madeleine kicks off on July 11 in Knoxville, TN! We're hitting some many places along the way, I hope to see as many of you as we can! You can check out my full schedule with the details on my website at
www.kristenkuiper.com/tour, but we'll be hitting Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois along the way! You can see all those dates ----------->

You can check out Madeleine's music and happenings at her website www.madand.com. Also grab her song "Parachute" off of her "Postcard" record on iTunes!

To wrap it up, I'm so excited for this summer and everything I'm getting the chance to do! I'm traveling, singing, and working on new music! I am so appreciative of all of you who support and continue to support me throughout my career and journey as an artist.

Much Love,

Kristen

Well... we're 17 days in and I never thought that I would top 2016, but this year is looking like it will be the best yet! I am going to be all around the country this year, I hope all of you can make it out to a show! I want to meet all of you!

I'm in the process of recording new music that you will get to hear very soon... (I promise this time for real) I'm thinking that maybe all of you that tune into the blog will get a sneak peek first! I'm also going to be working on some behind the scenes content for my YouTube Page. Make sure to subscribe to get the latest notifications when new videos are posted.

If you're wondering what i've been up to for the past month, I've been spending the holidays with friends and family. 2016 was such a great year and I was so happy to celebrate it with the people that are very nearest and dearest to my heart! That being said, I am so happy to be back in Nashville! I'm ready to rock n' roll!

This weekend i'm headed up to Paducah, KY to play a show at JP's Bar and Grill! If you're in the area, come say hello and hang out for the night! Gonna be a blast! I think that's it for now, I can't wait to come back and tell you what's happening in the next blog! Thanks and much love!

This year has already begun to fly by... I can't believe it's already March! The past couple of months have been busy ones, but I have no complaints.  I spent the holidays with family and friends in Michigan before returning to Nashville to get right to work!

I've been writing almost everyday with such talented people and the new songs are amazing! Everyone that has heard them has been so excited about what we've been playing! There should be some new music and videos coming your way very very shortly! I promise I'm going to focus on that the next couple of weeks to try to get it out!

I got to head to sunny Southwest Florida on the "Whiskey Sisters Tour", with my very good friend and fellow artist Skye Claire where we spent two weeks playing shows and touring! We met some amazing people while we were there and I'm headed back and making another run through Florida March 14-23 with Skye! Make sure and check out my Facebook and Website for those dates! If you know how to share that information on your social media pages, both Skye Claire and I would really appreciate any help that our fans can give!

This year is going to be crazy y'all! I hope you stick around and follow this wave that 2014 is letting me ride! Check back often and stay up to date on my tour schedule! If you want me to play, let me know and I will do my best to get there!

Just heard my song on the radio for the very first time and i've got to tell you that it felt great! Years of hard work and it feels amazing! Thank you to both 102.9 Big Country in Northern Michigan and also Clays Country who both have played the song! Can't wait to hear it again and get this thing spinning!

CMA Fest is in full spin here and i'm busy meeting fans and also seeing some really great new artists play as well! Don't forget you can go and download it anywhere music is sold online on June 18!

God Bless! - KK

I am so happy to announce that my new single "Hurt Like I Had Fun" is going to be released on June 18! It has been a long road and I appreciate all the support over the last three years!

I was fortunate enough to get to record this album with my producer, Casey Marshall. I am very excited for everyone to hear the incredible songs that we have brought to life. Big thanks to all the musicians that played on the project as well as the Art Institute in Hermitage, TN for letting me record there, and John Inglese for Co-Engineering the project. Everyone made this such a smooth and enjoyable process.

The talented musicians on this project are:
Grady Saxman - Drums
Johnny Stanton - Bass Guitar
David Dorn - Piano and B3
James Mitchell - Electric Guitar
Casey Marshall - Acoustic Guitar
BGV's - Taylor Dukes and Jason Lee Thomason

November Is Here

11/2/2012

Well it's November already...it seems like this year just started and it's quickly reminding me that it's coming to an end. The last few months have been busy and full of life. I've been writing for my own projects as well as the songs I'm writing to pitch to other artists.  I am very happy with the songs that are coming out of my co-writes as well as the songs that I have written by myself this past summer.

I would love to give you a date for my album, but I don't yet have one. And quite frankly I want it to be perfect when you hear it! I will continue to work as hard as I can to make sure that it is great when you hear it for the first time!

I spent the first part of September in Michigan celebrating my birthday and some other events while I was home. It was a ton of time away from Nashville, but a much needed break that recharged me for when I returned.  I came back the second week of the month and started writing twice a day for the entire month. I'm having the time of my life and there is so much to be proud of as far as material.

I have been playing out and debuting new music for the last couple of weeks now...the feedback is amazing and I can't tell you how proud of these new songs that I am.  The CMA's were tonight and I can only pray that one day my song will be the one that's awarded on that stage. Until that day comes I will continue to write the best songs that I can. :)  With the people that are around me that shouldn't be too difficult.  I'm definitely in some great company.

This upcoming month is very busy.  I'm writing, playing shows, and getting ready for the holidays! Make sure if you're in Nashville you stop by and catch a show. I would love to see you out there!
