A brand new competition has been introduced into Camp BB. This summer we are getting a three week face-off with the houseguests in a Whacktivity competition. Tonight was saw Ovi, Nicole, Cliff, Bella, and Kat take stage for a chance at a game changing power. The 5 Nightmare Whacktivity players had to smell several different scents and match them to disgusting items they corresponded to. After three rounds, Ovi finally got a perfect score and won the completion, as well as the power. He won the Nightmare Power and it gives him the opportunity to swipe the HOH's nominations even after seeing who goes up. Great power, as long as you aren't the person being backdoored. Besides the Whacktivity Comp, this week has brought on tons of drama. The target has gone back and forth several times, but after the POV Ovi found himself on the block. It's a really awesome power, but it's not going to do him any good this week. He will have to use the power to his advantage to gain votes. If he can't rally the troops, he'll be out the door with the power in his pocket. It's still up in the air if you retain your power if you come back in the game from a battle back, but time will tell.

The last night of the premiere revealed that Christie was HOH for the week; the longest week ever. She is now headed into Day 12 of her HOH and there hasn't even been a veto meeting. The live feeds weren't on for the first week of the game so there is a lot of discussions and content that was missed, but Christie nominated Kathryn and Cliff for eviction. Cliff has been cool as a cucumber as far as I have seen. He's done a really great job not seeming too paranoid and mingling with all sides of the house. He's played his time on the block very well. He's got great relationships with the majority of the people in the house and I would be shocked to see him voted out come Wednesday. Kathryn has been a complete basket case the entire week. He closest allies, Holly and Jackson, are so close to flipping and voting her out. She's emotional, irrational, and overall the way she has handled this nomination has been completely exhausting as a live feed viewer. I can not even imagine how draining she is to live with. It took me a couple of days to really get a feel for what is going on in the house. I quickly realized that there was a plan in motion to take down Cliff and replace him with Kemi. I did not see how this served anyone in the house, especially those in the large alliance. After further" research" AKA (watching hours of live feeds), it sounds like a very lighthearted comment was made about Jack and Jackson's cooking by Kemi so they have been gunning for her ever since. This is not a group move! This is Jack and Jackson's move. I could tell that the entire time live feeds had been up that Christie didn't feel right about this move to backdoor Kemi. Why would she? Kemi was in no way shape or form coming after her. Last night, she finally had a breakthrough and realized that Jack was using her to get Kemi out for him. It will be interesting to see how this all unfolds. There is a new backdoor target at this time, but expect the unexpected. It's still a long week for gameplay to change direction and flip. I need to close by saying this. Tommy and Nicole are the best!! These two are my picks for America's Favorite and someone you may see at the end. Tommy is a social threat. Everyone likes him! Nicole is so smart and a tremendous listener. I haven't heard either of their names come out of anyone's mouth as a potential nomination. If they keep playing nice and avoid power for a while, these two have the best shot. Night two of the premiere gave us two competitions, a first night "eviction", and of course the first HOH of the season. Jackson, who was voted Camp Director on night one by the house was tasked with nominating 4 of his peers for banishment. He chose Jessica, Cliff, David, and Kemi. The dark room competition has recently become a Big Brother staple. All four banishees were sent to the dark room to find their way back into Camp BB. After falling into honey, sliding through jello, and picking up every feather in the box, Kemi, Cliff, and Jessica were the three returning players. This left David in the room himself and sent him home.... for now. As expected with most night one evictees, there will most likely be a pre-jury buyback. There looks to be a 6 person alliance starting in the house including Jack, Michie (Jackson), Nick, Holly, Christie, and Bella. Is this going to be the new recipe for success? Six person alliance, three males, three females. Unlike BB20, they may have a six person squad forming, but I DO NOT see the loyalty that Level 6 had. I look for Jackson to do way too much, especially since he has three houseguest coming for him and his head is huge already. Bella will turn her back quickly and the fractures will form early. Christie is in with this six, but still vowed to have Tommy's back in the house. I look for Tommy to play both side and work the middle. The HOH was a huge Camp Totem Pole Hang-off. Jackson, the weeks elected leader and was told to pair up the houseguests to share a totem pole. There was color war and lot and lots of spinning. I was dizzy just watching the houseguest spin around. It came down to Tommy and Christie, she took the first HOH and as she got the first HOH of the season the episode ended. We will find out the first nominations Sunday nights episode. Who will Christie nominate? Live feeds begin shortly and for those of you who love spoilers, they are a must!
Today is the day! I've totally accepted the lack of sleep and social interaction that I'm going to get for the next 3 months. So excited for twists, turns, and blindsides! There have been a few surprised coming from the house already, but the most talked about is the audio leaks from the house. (Check out the leaks online for spoilers) Also, did everyone get to check out the full cast photos that were posted yesterday? The backyard look the same as always, but the sitting area in closer to the house looks to have changed as it always does. Another rumor that is swirling is that there has already been an eviction and one of the houseguests has been booted out the door night one. Just by looking at the cast photos, who do you think it is?
Check back in after the premiere for updates, thoughts, and a further cast analysis. Jeff Schroeder did not do half of these houseguests any justice. I just watched Queen Ika's (BBCAN2&5) interviews and a few of these players have me second guessing everything. I'll link all of the interviews with her below under the contestants names with my updated thoughts. Holly Allen https://youtu.be/J218wZHvgGA I still feel about the same as I did after her first interview about Holly. Ika brought out more of her personality, but it seems like she is still very new to the BB world and has limited knowledge. Predictions:
David Alexander https://youtu.be/rC33Y2qKT9A David is a charmer! He really opened up in his second interview and made me a believer in his game. He even cried on command! I think he moved up from middle of the pack to a Top 6 houseguest to me. Predictions:
Nicole Anthony https://youtu.be/PPhAusA0Zqc Nicole gave me really strong gamer vibes in her first interview with Jeff, but with Ika she seems like she will be an obvious target early. She game me Christine (BB16) vibes and we all know how that turned out. She has a decent strategy, but I can see her aligning with weak players that can't keep her safe should she be in trouble early. Predictions:
Tommy Bracco https://youtu.be/7dqeslY-784 I still love Tommy! He's tied for my favorite at this point! I have exactly the same thoughts as I did after the Jeff interview. I have heard through the rumor mill that he may be connected to another houseguest. The word is that Christie has dated Tommy's aunt. This should be fun to see how it pans out if the rumor is true. Predictions:
Kathryn Dunn https://youtu.be/Y0a8IVjxivs My opinion of Kathryn has completely flipped. I actually really have confidence in her game now. It came up that she has definitely seen the show and she spoke about BB20 as well as Janelle (BB6,7&14). I think she will go really far if her strong personality doesn't rub people the wrong way. Ika really brought out her personality and I got way less socialite vibes and during this interview. Predictions:
Kemi Faknule https://youtu.be/aJpVa5K3DcE I still really like Kemi and her personality is great! She will get along with the girls really well and I think the men will be gunning for her should she find herself on the block. I see her as one of 3-4 women that work together in the house. Predictions:
Jessica Milagros https://youtu.be/U1Mn0mW46-8 No opinion change on Jessica. I still pin her as a strong social threat that everyone will think is a loyal and trustworthy ally. I don't think Jessica will be in a huge alliance. She'll be loyal to a few people and fit in well with everyone. I think this keeps her safe deep into the game. Predictions:
Cliff Hogg III https://youtu.be/CmETV3ugr3E Still feel like Cliff is a scholar of the game. If he is too forthcoming with that information he will be out quickly. I think if he sticks around long enough he'll be one to stab a huge player in the back and send them packing. I predict he gets the house to throw him the first HOH and putting an unnecessary target on his back early. Predictions:
Ovi Kabir https://youtu.be/f4SSQMi82DQ Ovi for the win! This guys is a superfan with a ton of game knowledge. He's likable and will appear super trustworthy to all sides of the house. I still believe he is going to play a similar game to Ian (BB14) and I believe his chance to win is near the top! Predictions:
Nick Maccarone https://youtu.be/kWHds01o2Qo Are we still confused about who Nick really is? He's a therapist and that's going to pay dividends for his game. I'll bet he is a great listener who will use other peoples information and emotions to get what he wants to further his game. He'll get along with the guys and may align himself with a few of the men in the house. Predictions:
Jack Matthews https://youtu.be/WKKyofOotm0 Huge shift in opinion about this guy. He's definitely not Tyler (BB20), but I do get Fessy (BB20) vibes. He's going to trust the wrong people and this will lead to his demise. I can also see him in a showmance and that making him an early target. Predictions:
Jackson Michie https://youtu.be/rpTpVQd6A3Q Still a bro. Still an alpha male. Still going to be targeted the whole game long like Cody (BB19). There isn't much else to say about him. He is a long time fan, but that is going to get him in trouble. He knows too much about that game and it will make in paranoid. Predictions:
Christie Murphy https://youtu.be/GrQTVhNLYt4 My opinion of her has changed in her favor. I do think she is very spiritual, but there are more layers to her than just that. She has a strong personality, but she seems able to hold her own. I like her chances if she teams up with the strongest alliance in the house. She will fare well in competitions, but she doesn't seem extremely physical. Like I mentioned in Tommy's update, it's been said that she's dated his aunt and they may know each other. Depending on how truthful that rumor is, that could really shake up the game. Bad blood is fun to watch, but terrible for a players game. Predictions:
Sam Smith https://youtu.be/8eUo5gjWPBU My opinion of who Sam will clash with has changed. I think it will be the whole house and Jackson will be the ringleader. He's got a huge personality, but it's too big. He's going to struggle at comps and will find himself on the block early. Unless he can make friends quickly, he's evicted right out the gate. Predictions:
Analyse Talavera https://youtu.be/rmOXRGlFxSE This girl is Jessica Graf 2.0 (BB19). She's going to be confrontational and make enemies, but her mental and physical strength will keep her safe. Safe to say that she will catch the single guys eyes and there's a strong possibility of a showmance. I look for her to win comps and align herself with others who win as well. Predictions:
Isabella Wang
https://youtu.be/T_SpCmIUAb4 I think I was totally wrong about Isabella. She seemed like a strong force to be reckoned with during her first interview, but it is clear that she has limited game knowledge with a very happy to lucky attitude. She'll be an easy pawn if she doesn't take the game as serious as these other houseguests. I think she will be "friends" with everyone, but backstabbed when it comes time to vote. Predictions:
I missed blogging last year, but my life was just too crazy! I loved BB20 and I am hopeful this season will bring the same spirited energy that last years players did. Nonetheless, I am so excited to be back and talking BB with my fans and friends! As some of you know, I love Big Brother! I discovered this crazy show in Season 6, thanks to my Grandma, but I have been hooked ever since. It started by watching the edited version on CBS; I then found After Dark by Season 8 and by Season 13 I was hooked on the live feeds, I needed spoilers, and wanted everyone I knew to love the show was much as I do.. Most peoples summers are spent on the water, vacationing, and enjoying the beautiful weather; I'm planning my days around HOH comps, Veteos, and Live Evictions. I can't wait to see how this season shakes out, "but first" let's talk about the brand new houseguests that we get the pleasure of watching play this game all summer! As always, these are based on the Pre-Season Invterviews on CBS All-Access with Jeff Schroeder (BB11&13). I'm usually widely wrong until the live feeds start, but here are my predictions. Don't forget to comment yours below and let me know who your favorites are! Holly Allen, 31 Los Angeles, CA Los Angeles Wine Safari Guide by way of Lander, Wyoming. My hopes aren't extremely high for Holly. Her BB knowledge is limited, she wasn't even able to pick a favorite. She's an obvious recruit of the show, but I think she will adapt rather quickly. I see her becoming part of a large alliance, falling into a showmance, and making it to jury before she is booted out of the front door. David Alexander, 29 Atlanta, GA David has definitely never seen the show. I would guess he is another recruit this season. He claims to have a gift of gab; that usually gets you into trouble in the BB house. He will need to align with a strong group to reign him in if he wants to stick around. I do think if he can be a good listener and limit his game talk in the house, he's got a great chance. He looks like he could fair well in a physical competition. Nicole Anthony, 24 Long Island, NY Getting strong player vibes from Nicole! She's smart! Her plan is to hide that from the other houseguest with her quirky personality. She has a lot of knowledge of the game and if she plays her cards right she will go far. She may not be as physical as some of the other houseguests, but I wouldn't be surprised to see her pull out crucial competition wins. I'm keeping my eye on her and can't wait to watch her fool all of them. Tommy Bracco, 28 Staten Island, NY I LOVE TOMMY! He's already one of my favorites! Do I think he wins, no. I think he is going to be very competitive in these comps without being a threat. There are some bigger alpha males that will rank over Tommy and it will keep him in the game longer. I predict him as a jury member who clashes with a few members of the cast week 2. Kathryn Dunn, 29 Dallas, TX My guess is that Kathryn has no idea what HOH and POV stand for. She's a clear recruit who hasn't even watched the show. Her extremely limited knowledge will put her lightyears behind superfans in the house. She is an aspiring social media follower and I expect her to ruffle feathers to gain internet fame. Kemi Faknule, 25 Brooklyn, NY Kemi stated her favorite players were Jessica Graf (BB19) and Rachel Reilly (BB12&13). If she's anything like these two personalities we are in for quite a summer. Vostrous players tend to fair poorly in the house, but I'm hopeful for Kemi. I see her as part of a girls alliance; having to fight for her safety after the men find out. Jessica Milagros, 30ish Oak Park, Illinois Jessica gives me Sabrina (BBCAN2) vibes. Her social game will be her strongest selling point if she touches the final two. She's a long time fan of the game with knowledge of how to play it. She will want to lay low, but probably be targeted early. She will escape eviction early and scoot by until later in the game. I see her being able to use strong social relationships to keep herself in over other physical threats. Cliff Hogg III, 53 Houston, TX He may be an oil man, but the show struck gold! This guy knows the game, inside and out. His age only helps him if he keeps the dad jokes to a minimum. He's as likable as Donny (BB16), but says he will do anything for the money. I hope he gains trust of some of the younger "threats" and has a hand in backstabbing them. I can see him winning HOH mid-season and stirring up the game. Ovi Kabir, 22 Knoxville, TN This guys is near the top of my list for this season! He seems to have superfan knowledge of seasons past, potential social threat, gamer all the way. His biggest weakness, his physical game, will be his biggest asset. They will overlook Ovi until it's too late. I hope he Ian Terry's (BB14) them all and takes that $500,000 home at the end. Nick Maccarone, 27 Sewell, NJ This guy confuses me. He's like a sourpatch kid. At first he's in your face and then he's the sweet therapist that will use all your feelings against you to get his way. We'll see how he used his profession to his advantage, but I can see him going quite far based on his ability to play on others emotions. Jack Matthews, 28 Tampa, FL Is Jack this year's Tyler(BB20)? This guy will be offered more alliances than anyone else. He's obviously got the look, but he's seemingly sensitive as well. If he avoids a showman, I really like this guy's chances of taking it. Jackson Michie, 24 Los Angeles, CA We needed a "bro", Jackson is our guy. I don't dislike him, but the guy seems really vanilla. I can see 2-3 girls really clashing with him. His image is important to him, he'd rather lose and be loved. His favorite players are Paul (BB18&19) and Brett (BB20). If he can be a combination of both, he may actually pull it off. Christie Murphy, 28 Keyport, NJ I'm calling Christie the "Gratitude Goddess" this year. She owns a clothing boutique and has confessed to saging her customers with negative energy. She plans on holding gratitude ceremonies daily and forcing the houseguests to bring out their good energies. This will get old, real quick. She's going to have to tone it down and respect the other houseguests energies whether that be positive or negative. My hopes aren't high, but maybe a little saging of the house will be what she needs to take it all. Sam Smith, 31 Mountain Top, Pennsylvania I'm going to call it now. Sam and Kathryn will not get along :) I really want to like Sam, but his thoughts are all over the place. He's going to drive the houseguests nuts. His physical game better be there, or he is out before jury. On the bright side, Cliff will have someone to swap Dad jokes with for a few weeks. Analyse Talavera, 22 Simi Valley, California Analyse is definitely athletic and compares herself to Angela (BB20). If she can keep her emotions in check and not fall into a showmance, I like her chances in the game. She needs a strong, diverse alliance. She wants to play a similar game to Kaycee (BB20) and I think if she lays low and turns it on at the end, she's got a great shot at the money. Isabella Wang, 22 Los Angeles, CA I thoroughly expect to see Isabella near the end of the game. She seems like she has the ability to see right through the bull. I want Ovi and Isabella to align with one another and run that house. She will do well socially and struggle in the physical comps, but teamed up with the right people she will go deep into the game. |
